Our experience as literary agents has shown us that there is always much more to the authors we admire than what’s in their bios. We want to showcase the humor, the chaos, and the real stories behind the scenes—because nothing resonates quite like discovering that an author's “overnight success” actually took eleven years, four day jobs, and one spectacular meltdown in a Barnes & Noble parking lot.

In each episode, we explore the lives of the authors and women in publishing we admire, asking all the nosy questions. What snacks do they keep in their desk drawers? What’s their favorite drink order? What were they like in high school?
